2014 LARIMER COUNTY FAIR PARADE IN PREPARATION FOR SATURDAY, JULY 26 IN LOVELAND

APPLICATIONS TO ENTER PARADE FLOATS DUE FRIDAY, JULY 18th 

Loveland, CO  The 2014 Larimer County Fair Parade is coming to downtown Loveland on Saturday, July 26.The parade is set to start at 9:30 a.m. and begin at Fairgrounds Park in Loveland. The parade will head north on Railroad Avenue, cross over 6th Street, head south on Cleveland Avenue, and end at Barnes Softball Complex at Fairgrounds Park.  For a map of the parade route, applications, an updated schedule, and other pertinent Fair information, visitwww.LarimerCountyFair.org

The 2014 Larimer County Fair runs from August 1-5 at The Ranch in Loveland. Events at this year’s Larimer County Fair include Gnarly Barley Brew Festival and Dog and Pony Variety Show: August 2, PRCA Rodeo: August 3-5, Fireworks: August 1-2 and much more.

The Ranch, Larimer County Fairgrounds and Events Complex, located in Loveland, CO, opened in 2003, celebrating 10 years of entertainment this year, and is owned and operated by Larimer County.  The Ranch consists of the Budweiser Events Center, a 7,200 seat multi-purpose arena managed by Global Spectrum, the Ranch-Way Feeds Indoor Arena and Livestock Pavilions, the First National Bank Exhibition Halls, and the Thomas M. AWARD WINNING PRCA RODEO HEADLINES THE 2014 LARIMER COUNTY FAIR AT THE RANCH, AUGUST 3-5

TICKETS TO THE 2014 PRCA RODEO ARE ON SALE NOW AT COMCASTTIX.COM

Loveland, CO – The PRCA Rodeo presented by Pedersen Toyota kicks off at the Budweiser Events Center at The Ranch on Sunday, August 3rd and runs three consecutive nights at 7 p.m.  Tickets are on sale now at the Budweiser Events Center box office, by phone at 877-544-TIXX (5499), or online at ComcastTIX.com.

The Larimer County PRCA Rodeo was honorably named “Medium Rodeo of the Year” in 2013 and will be bringing back all of its great traditions for 2014 includingseveral features, such as Hall of Fame Stock Contractor - Beutler and Son Rodeo Company, Hall of Fame announcer, Hadley Barrett, and bullfighters, Andy Burelle and Dusty Tuckness.  Not to forget the key elements of a clown and barrel man, Mark Swingler, who will be performing specialty acts during each performance.

Keeping in Larimer County tradition each rodeo will feature a 4-H Animal Scramble where Larimer County kids will participate.  The opening night on Sunday, August 3, will be the 4-H Lamb Scramble, followed by Monday, August 4 Calf Scramble, and Tuesday, August 5 Goat Scramble.   Continuing to feature our local youth and heritage 4-H Family Night, will be held on Monday offering a discounted ticket for 4-H Members. “Tough Enough to Wear Pink” night will be held onTuesday, August 5, where everyone attending/participating is encouraged to wear pink in support of breast cancer awareness. Tuesday night will also feature the crowning of the 2015 Larimer County Fair and Rodeo Queen. LARIMER COUNTY LADY-IN-WAITING COMPETITION SET FOR AUGUST 2 AT THE RANCH




Lady-In-Waiting applications must be submitted by July 14

The Larimer County Fair and Rodeo Board has announced that this year’s Lady-In-Waiting competition is scheduled forSaturday August 2, 2014, 8:00a.m.-7:00p.m. at The Ranch Complex during the Larimer County Fair and Rodeo.

The perspective candidates will be judged on personality, modeling, knowledge, interviews and the coveted Horsemanship competition. The Lady-In-Waiting competition will start promptly at 8:00a.m. and the winner will be announced at the Budweiser Events Center at The Ranch directly after the Horsemanship competition.

The public is invited to attend all events including the Horsemanship competition and the event is free of charge. Ladies interested in competing for Lady-In-Waiting at this year’s event have until July 14, 2014 to submit an application.

CARNIVAL AMERICANA TICKETS FOR 2014 LARIMER COUNTY FAIR ON SALE NOW AT COMCASTTIX.COM

Loveland, CO – The 2014 Larimer County Fair & PRCA Rodeo, presented by Colorado Lottery, kicks-off on Friday, August 1 at The Ranch in Loveland.  ALarimer County Fair staple, Carnival Americana will be a big attraction at the fair, open weeknights from 4pm to midnight, Saturday & Sunday from noon to midnight.

The Budweiser Events Center and The Ranch are pleased to announce that Carnival Americana tickets are available for purchase online atComcastTIX.com. Online tickets are available in both the one day pass and the “all day mega pass”, which includes all days the carnival is open. One day passes for the carnival are $25 and mega passes are $50.
